Guifu Liu

Hi! I'm Guifu, a PhD student affiliated with the RTG Neuroexplicit Models of Language, Vision, and Action at Universität des Saarlandes. I am currently supervised by Prof. Vera Demberg. Before this, I obtained an MSc by Research at the Institute for Language, Cognition and Computation, University of Edinburgh, co-supervised by Prof. Bonnie Webber and Prof. Hannah Rohde. I have a Bachelor's in Artificial Intelligence also at Edinburgh, with an exchange year at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2022/23.

I am interested in implicit meanings and pragmatic uses of language. I am working on examining and improving these aspects in language models.
